The Brief

Our client lives interstate and had used this investment property as a rental for a number of years but was looking to turn it into a space to enjoy when visiting Sydney every couple of months. We arrange to remove all the 90's furniture that was tired, dated and well worn and replace all furniture with new fresh pieces to suit the transition from investment property to holiday residence. We updated the carpet, painted the walls, had new curtains made and installed floating timber floats over the existing kitchen tiles to give the unit a lift. Then brought in new furniture pieces and reconfigured the layout of the lounge room to allow for additional seating and made the dining area a more comfortable place to sit and eat breakfast each morning. The bedroom layout stayed the same so we updated the bedhead with a beautiful upholstered bedhead we had custom made with a lovely light blue fabric, installed some lovely new table lamps, bedside tables, chest of drawers and made the bed with brand new linen to make the space feel like a hotel.
