We start with an Initial Consultation in your home
This is where you walk us through your home (in person or virtually), discuss your lifestyle, goals and style preferences.
We also review budget and timeline expectations together, offering clarity and direction so you know exactly how to move forward—whether that’s full-service decorating or a phased approach tailored to your needs and budget.

At this stage you will receive:

You are given access to your very own client protal to access all information about your project in one place. No more hunting through your inbox for all your project information.
You can approve purchases, see what’s been ordered, furniture delivery statuses and product pricing at a glance plus leave feedback on any project details.
TRADE DISCOUNTS
As a bonus, you get access to our little black book of interior decorating suppliers and trade contacts.
We work hard on our supplier relationships to secure you the best product pricing and custom furniture options.
Most decorators won’t get the access to pricing and wide product ranges that we do. This means we will create a really unique design for your home you literally can’t get anywhere else.
INSTALLATION
On sign off of your furniture pieces, we place all orders & arrange delivery to you.

You’ll simply upload the details of your space along with any inspiration, existing furniture or pieces you’d like us to consider.

4. We Create Your Design
Now it’s our turn! We’ll take everything you’ve shared and develop a considered design direction specifically for your space.
From furniture and rugs to colour, lighting, artwork and styling, we’ll bring the individual elements together so you can see how the whole room will work.
You’ll have the opportunity to review your design and provide feedback, ensuring the final direction feels right for you and your home.

What is virtual interior design?
Virtual interior design is essentially interior design delivered remotely. The process takes place online rather than through in-home appointments, allowing you to work with a designer regardless of where you live.
What does online interior design include?
The exact deliverables depend on your project, but online interior design can include furniture selections, colour palettes, rugs, lighting, artwork, styling and product recommendations, along with a clear overall design direction.
Can you design my entire home online?
Yes. Online interior design can be used for a single room or multiple spaces throughout your home.
For larger projects, we can develop a cohesive design direction across the home so the rooms feel connected while still having their own personality.
Can you work with furniture I already own?
Absolutely. We don’t believe you need to start from scratch to create a beautiful home. Your existing furniture and pieces you love can often become an important part of the design.
We’ll consider what should stay, what could be moved or restyled and where new pieces would make the biggest difference.
Do I need a floor plan?
A floor plan is helpful, particularly when we’re working with furniture layouts, but it isn’t always essential.
We’ll let you know what information we need from you when we discuss your project.
Do you choose specific products for me?
Yes. Depending on your package, we can provide specific furniture, lighting, rug, artwork and styling recommendations so you know what to look for and where to find it.
Do you purchase and install the products?
Online interior design is designed for clients who are happy to take care of purchasing and implementation themselves.
If you’d prefer us to manage sourcing, purchasing, delivery and installation, our full-service interior decorating and interior design services may be a better fit.
Can I work with EB Studio if I don't live in Sydney?
Yes. Our online interior design service allows us to work with clients outside Sydney and beyond, without the need for an in-home consultation.
How much does online interior design cost?
The investment depends on the size and scope of your project and the level of design support required.
Once we understand what you’re hoping to achieve, we can recommend the most appropriate service for your home.
Is online interior design the same as an online moodboard?
No. A moodboard is a visual starting point. Online interior design goes further by applying the design direction to your actual home and considering your space, measurements, existing furniture, lifestyle and budget.
The aim is to give you a practical plan you can actually implement.
Is online interior design right for me?
If you want the expertise of an interior designer but are comfortable implementing the recommendations yourself, it can be a great option.
If your project involves renovation, structural changes or you want someone to manage the entire process, our full-service interior design service may be more suitable.
