Is hiring an interior decorator worth it?
For many homeowners, the value is about much more than having a beautiful home.
An experienced decorator can save you time, help you avoid costly purchasing mistakes, make difficult decisions easier and give you access to industry knowledge and suppliers.
If you’ve ever spent hours trying to decide between three sofas, bought the wrong-sized rug or put off furnishing a room because you simply don’t know where to start, a decorator can take that overwhelm away.
Can an interior decorator work with my existing furniture?
Absolutely.
We can work with the pieces you already own and determine what should stay, what could be moved or repurposed and where new pieces would make the biggest difference.
You don’t need to start again to create a completely different feeling in your home
Can you decorate just one room?
Yes.
You can engage us to transform a single room such as a living room, bedroom, dining room or home office, or we can work across multiple rooms or an entire home.
If you’re decorating gradually, we can also establish an overall direction so that each room feels connected as you work through your home.
Can you furnish an empty or newly purchased home?
Yes.
Starting with an empty home is actually a great opportunity to create a cohesive look from the beginning.
We’ll consider the furniture layout, proportions, colours, rugs, lighting, artwork and finishing touches together rather than having you make individual purchases that may not work as a whole.
What if I don't know what my interior style is?
That’s completely fine.
You don’t need to arrive with a Pinterest board or know exactly what you want.
Part of our job is helping you work that out. We’ll look at your home, how you live and the things you’re naturally drawn to before developing a decorating direction that feels personal rather than prescribed.
Do you source furniture and homewares?
Yes! We can source furniture, rugs, lighting, artwork, window furnishings, soft furnishings and decorative pieces as required for your project.
We also manage the ordering and procurement process, taking away the need for you to coordinate multiple suppliers and deliveries yourself.
Do you offer turnkey interior decorating?
Yes. Our turnkey decorating service is designed for clients who want us to manage the process from beginning to end.
We’ll coordinate the selection and sourcing of furniture and décor, procurement, deliveries, installation and final styling so you can walk into a finished home without having to manage all the moving parts yourself.
Can you help with a rental or investment property?
Absolutely! Interior decorating can be just as valuable for an investment property, rental or property being prepared for sale.
We can create a considered furniture and styling package that suits the property, its intended use and your budget.
