I come across a lot of beautiful things each week in my job as a Buyer for The Home not to mention all the things I find when I’m sourcing for clients for Nest. Here are three brands I wanted to share with you for either having generally awesome people behind the brand (Fromage La Rue, hi Sarah!) or for doing something outside the box with a standard product (One Nautical Candles)…You’ll see why below!

One of the categories I look after for The Home is candles which is pretty convenient considering I am more than obsessed with candles. Just last week a new candle brand called One Nautical Mile started following me on Instagram. They are using the most gorgeous candle glasses and have the most fascinating sounding scents such as Leather & Frankincense, Coffee & Coco Bean and Coconut & Buttered Rum. Oh and isn’t the branding just too cute!?

I’ve long been a fan of the vintage marquee letter lights from Fromage La Rue for ages and they’ve just launched a petites range of symbols (and petite letters launching soon!). They ship Australia wide and to NZ and did I mention they are only $149. They come in sweet little shapes like hearts, stars, clouds and a lighting bolt – Harry Potter would have loved one! There’s even an E!!!!

And lastly, boutique wallpaper brand Quercus & Co who hand paint and hand draw their designs have release a new range of wallpapers. I’m seriously considering buying some wallpaper and framing it, it’s like art for your entire wall!!
